In an environment that fosters true friendship, the Lanesville Jaycees offers opportunities for business, personal development and community action to men and women 18 to 40 years of age.
The Lanesville Jaycees gives young people the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections. We are young adults who want to make a positive difference in our community. We are also friends who have a lot of fun together, whether we are participating in a community service project, planning a seminar, or enjoying the company of everyone in the Lanesville Jaycees over dinner.
Most of the leadership training is accomplished through planning and participating in community service and fund-raising activities. Other leadership skills are learned by attending and presenting at individual development and team building seminars, teaching skills to newer members, and by serving on the Board of Directors.
The Lanesville Jaycees are not just a local group. We are affiliated with the Indiana Jaycees, United States Junior Chamber, and Junior Chamber International. These organizations provide additional events, training and other ways to get involved.
